PDF Print E-mail

1. All deposits are non-refundable.

2. All outstanding balances must be paid on arrival at your activity provider.

3. POA cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged property.

4. Even though your activity providers have full Public Liability Insurance, it is strongly suggested that participants carry their own personal accident policy that covers them for the activity they are undertaking. Personal accident policies are usually available from your own insurance broker.

5. All outdoor activities are subject to weather conditions. It is advisable to contact your activity provider on the morning of the activity and prior to travelling for confirmation. Neither POA nor the chosen operator will be held liable for any expenses incurred by individuals or groups, for journeys undertaken to the operators in the event that activities are cancelled for any reason.

6. Some activies are open to participants of all ages however; some operators may offer activities for which they are not Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) licensed. Under these circumstances all under 18 year olds must be supervised or joined by a parent or guardian. To find out more about the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority scheme, which operators are licensed and which adventure sports are covered by the scheme, visit  www.aals.org.uk.

7. Participants may be required to sign a medical disclaimer prior to any activities taking place. Failure to complete or comply with this requirement in its entirety may mean participants cannot take part in certain activities. Check with POA or your activity provider at point of enquiry. It is important to inform your activity provider of any medical conditions you have or inform them of any medication you may require.

8. POA will not be held liable for any injuries incurred during participation of any activities.

9. POA reserves the right to substitute activiities for ones of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances beyond their control.

10. POA cannot be held responsible for cancellations by any activity providers for whatever reason.
